A New Collection of Poems from Helen Jacobs
This is the sixth collection of Helen Jacobs, writing name of Elaine Jakobsson, long time retiree but still an active member of the Canterbury Poets Collective in Christchurch, New Zealand. As she is now in her eighty-fourth year another book cannot be guaranteed.
What fellow poet, Sandy Bains, says about this collection:
It is a pensive contemplation of the nature of humanness and our connection to our planet. These are poems to be read and re-read. She has analysed the nature of memory and our memory of nature wonderfully evocatively.
